RW Data is a Minnesota computer recycling company that is based in Brooklyn Park and has been serving the Minneapolis area since 1991. We serve a number of industries, including residential customers through the recycling of computer equipment. It is through recycling that we are able to provide and end of life solution for computer equipment, as well as data destruction and remarketing for equipment that can be reused.

Our Mission

The purpose of E-Cycling is to offer a solution to the amount of computer waste that finds its way into our landfills. Many pieces of computer equipment end up in landfills and this means chemicals in the metals used to create the computer equipment works its way into the soil. Many times, computers find their ways into landfills because their owners do not know better regarding how to dispose of them. Through our drop off and pick up service, we are able to determine what kind of life that equipment may have. Parts of it may once again serve as a computer, while there may be other uses for the parts within the machine.

Community Education

The term “green” is used all of the time and in a number of industry, which means there is no exception to being green in the electronics industry. At RW Data, we are a Minneapolis computer recycling company that educates residents, corporations, and communities as a whole so they can make educated decisions regarding how to better dispose of computer equipment, which is through recycling. Just because a computer has reached the end of its life doesn’t mean that it can’t be used elsewhere.

One of the solutions to the fact that only 25% of consumer electronics were collected for recycling is the ease of pick up and drop off and we have made that easy for you.
